Under the terms of the Exchange Scholar Program, graduate students may spend a term or full academic year at a number of other institutions, including Berkeley, Brown, Chicago, Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, MIT, Princeton and Stanford, and certain overseas universities.
The department is affiliated with the American School of Classical Studies in Athens and the American Academy in Rome. The Classics department also participates in the Yale-UCL Collaborative Exchange Program which allows doctoral students to spend a period of time conducting research at University College London under the supervision of UCL faculty in their area of research.
