Meghan Freeman completed the post-bac program at Penn in 2010 after having graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University the previous year.
She spent part of her senior undergraduate year abroad at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome, where she also conducted research for her honors thesis. Her project focused on identifying an unpublished recut imperial Roman portrait and preparing for its display in Omaha’s Joslyn Art Museum.
While at Yale, Meghan is interested in exploring the complex relationship between art and text in the ancient world. As a student of Roman visual culture and sculpture in particular, she also interns for the Department of Ancient Art at the Yale University Art Gallery.
