Certificates in Ancient Greek and Latin
The Department of Classics offers Certificates of Advanced Language Study in ancient Greek and in Latin to non-majors. Students earn certificates by completing four courses in ancient Greek or Latin beyond the L4 level (i.e., four L5 courses; 3000- or 4000-level Greek or 3000- or 4000-level Latin courses) with a B or above. Full details—including information about study abroad credits—may be found on the Yale College Programs of Study website.
