Claudia Portogallo (PhD 2017, Classics and Renaissance Studies), is a boarding school mentor and teacher at Sankt Afra in Saxony, Germany. Her rigorous dissertation work on the reception of Thucydides in Renaissance Florence, together with her teaching experience as a graduate student and her deep knowledge of the techniques of digital humanities, prepared her for this exciting career interacting with and guiding gifted students in Meissen.
