In this meeting, we will discuss two readings (Ch. 7 of Du Bois’ Souls of Black Folk (“Of the Black Belt”) and selections from Kyle Mays’ An Afro-Indigenous History of the United States) in preparation for Dan-el Padilla Peralta’s visit to Yale on April 21st and 22nd.
