Archaia Forum: Beinecke Show & Tell with Colin McCaffrey

Join us for our next ARCHAIA Forum event: From Adam to Spinoza: Early Modern European Histories of Asian Philosophy, a show & tell at the Beinecke Library (Classroom 9) on Thu April 11th @ 4pm. Colin McCaffrey, beloved Classics librarian and long-time Archaia member, will lead an exploration of early modern works held in the Beinecke Library which showcase the reception in Europe of Asian philosophy. Colin will introduce the texts and provide guidance, but the key activity for this section will be getting the opportunity for a closer examination of some of the Beinecke’s many treasures. After the show & tell, participants will be invited to join Colin for further relaxed discussion over drinks and nibbles.
