The first Classics Departmental Colloquium event of the semester will take place on Friday, January 20th, at 12 noon in PH401. The speaker is presenting virtually, but we will still gather in person and look forward to seeing many of you there! Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees as normal. Please register here.
Dr. Maya Feile Tomes, from the University of Cambridge, will be giving a paper entitled “Torrid Times: Troping the Tropics across the Early Modern Iberian Imperial World”.
