Jennifer Moss, ’19

Jennifer is a first-year graduate student in the Classical Philology track. Prior to coming to Yale, they received their B.A. (Classics and Comparative Literature) and M.A. (Latin) from the University of Michigan.

Their research interests lie in the construction of social categories (e.g. of gender, sexuality, class, ethnicity) in Latin literature, in particular elegy and satire, as well as in the intersections of ancient literary and visual cultures, and the reception of classical literature and culture in the medieval and early modern period.
