The Yale Classics Works-in-Progress(WIP) series is a forum for those working on classics-related research—conference papers, dissertation chapters, articles, etc. — to share and receive friendly and productive feedback. Presentations typically last 30 minutes and are followed by informal questions and discussion, accompanied by refreshments. The WIP typically meets Monday at 4 PM on a Zoom link (there will be an in-person component in S21 if necessary).
Presentations are supplemented in the Spring by professional development topics and some external speakers.
If you would like to present in the coming semester, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a short description (2-3 sentences) of what you would like to present. Any student in their dissertation writing years is expected to present work in progress at least once a year; the WiP is a possible venue for that.
