The Department of Classics at Yale is thrilled to share that John Ma, Professor of Classics at Columbia University, will deliver the Seventeenth Annual Michael I. Rostovtzeff Lecture on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 5pm in LC 101. His lecture is entitled “Timber, textile, tax and trade: economy and society in early Hellenistic Ionia.” A reception will follow at Union League Café.
